Your Personal Assistant

My name is Lisa Crow and I am the designer and owner of Performing Art Designs. I have a great love and passion for the performing arts! That passion began the moment I put on my first pair of tap shoes at the age of 4...I was hooked! I choreographed all my friends, many times on roller-skates, danced and choreographed through high school and college and eventually turned that love into teaching and choreographing as a profession.

I taught dance for about 10 years after getting married to my incredible husband, then took an extended break to raise my two sons and one daughter, went back to school for Graphic Design, then spent the last 10 years teaching dance at a wonderful studio here in Flower Mound, Texas. I worked as the Competition Director as well as the Performing Arts Director over Curriculum. For the past 10 years I also worked for the studio as the in house Graphic Designer, creating recital covers, magazine ads, personalized program ads, recital and studio t-shirts, flyers, etc.

Besides being involved with dance, I've played the piano for 40 years and have been involved in many musical recitals myself as well as orchestra and voice recitals with my kids. One of our favorite things to do as a family is to go to the theatre. Along with dancing her entire life, my daughter was heavily involved with theatre all through middle school and high school (and is now majoring in theatre in college), so I spent many hours sewing costumes, reupholstering furniture (it's amazing what you can do with a hot-glue and a staple gun), fundraising, driving to Cirque training, and so forth.

I am excited to share my love of design and the performing arts with you and to help you in the process of putting on a spectacular performance! I know how busy rehearsals, costuming, technical work, staging, scheduling and everything else that goes into a performance can be! I am here to lighten your load with my expertise and with my understanding of everything that goes on behind the scenes when putting it all together.

My goal is for you to know that you can make a call, tell me what you need, then know it's being taken care of and is one less thing for you to worry about! (Unless you have me do your program, tickets, posters AND t-shirts...then it's four less things to worry about!)
